How Good Will the Bench Be?

The Bucks bench was the team’s saving grace for the first half of the season last year, but drastically fell off after the All-Star break due to injuries before returning to form in the last stretch of the season, as well as the playoff series against the Bulls.

Now with a few of those key contributors off with other teams, as well as new faces on the Bucks, should we expect a top 10 bench from the Bucks for the second consecutive year?

The Bucks have added a lot of perimeter shooting this past off-season, whether it was through the draft or free agency and that could really work with big man John Henson.

Players like Chris Copeland and Jerryd Bayless will look to redeem themselves after coming off of poor shooting seasons and rookies Damien Inglis and Rashad Vaughn will certainly have their own adjustment periods respectively.

However, the team’s depth certainly looks to be almost as good as it was last year and you have guys like O.J. Mayo and Greivis Vasquez in contract years, that could be instant offense off the bench for this young Bucks team.
