  • As pleased as many would have been to see Damien Inglis get some real minutes early on, it was an indictment of where Kidd’s confidence currently is in a player like Chris Copeland. It’s hard to know if the experience of Copeland would have helped to hold things together a little better (probably not), but either way this was a big call.
  • The Bucks had a 12 point lead when Kidd started to substitute out the starters midway through the first starting with Jabari Parker, yet by the time they all checked back in Boston led by eight. That’s bad coaching, plain and simple. Rotations should not be so rigid as not to adjust to the situation, and on this occasion Kidd allowed Boston to build up a head of steam.
