AM: What do you see as the matchup that could prove to be decisive for both teams on Saturday?

JH: There’s a number of possible matchups to enjoy in this game (I’m a fan of these young Bucks), including: Mozgov vs Monroe, Thompson vs Jabari and (if he was playing) literally anyone vs Mayo. But I’m going to take the most clichéd answer and say LeBron vs Giannis.

I know. Lame.

But Giannis is one of the few guys in the league who can match up with the King defensively. He’s got the length, size and strength to do a respectable job on LBJ for 48 minutes. And since the Cavs are so depleted, ‘Bron has had to do a lot of scoring lately to help his club rack up wins. The result of the game, then, could very well rely on how well Antetokounmpo manages to guard him.

It’s a tall order, but I always love seeing young guys step up to the challenge of trying to guard an elite player. Giannis himself is entering a year in which many are hoping he’ll break out and become an All-Star type player.

Tonight should be a fun one.
