  • Jabari Parker playing at the level he’s at right now makes everything feel better. He posted a season-high 16 points in this one, and as always at least some of them came off of monster dunks. Like this one:
  • The Bucks defense was great on Monday night. The Nuggets turnover-happy offense certainly helped, but Milwaukee deserves credit for that performance too. The Bucks were hyperactive on defense, gobbling up ten steals and 12 blocked shots. That’s the defense we need to see going forward.
  • Michael Carter-Williams played really well off of the bench. He showed he deserves his starting spot back in this one–we’ll get to stats in the player grades, but MCW nearly got a triple-double and just looked better than he has in a while.
  • For once, the Bucks didn’t get killed by threes! The Nuggets managed only six three-point makes in this one, on 31.6 percent from beyond the arc. It’s a lot easier to win ballgames when you don’t give up seven threes in a random quarter, it turns out.
