Reactions: The Bad

  • Juice and Bayless have started a second game together.
  • But really, it’s not just that those two are starting together. This wouldn’t be that bad if they would play like we’ve seen them both play this season–in more of a facilitator role for the other talented players on this team. Bayless and Mayo should only be taking open shots, but they’re forcing everything right now.
  • The minutes allocation on this team is haywire. In what universe should four different guards be getting more minutes than either Giannis Antetokounmpo or Greg Monroe? That’s what happened against the Nuggets: Khris Middleton, Mayo, Bayless and MCW all played at least 30 minutes. Giannis played under 20, and Moose played under 25. This is a problem.
