Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

John Henson, B

8 Points | 4-7 FG | 0-4 FT | 7 REB | 2 AST | 1 STL | 3 BLK |

He didn’t make any of his free throws, but this was exactly the kind of game that Henson needs to play going forward. He showed a ton of energy in his time off of the bench, and was effective on both ends of the floor. If this John Henson shows up on a nightly basis, Milwaukee will be a much better team.

Jabari Parker, A

16 Points | 6-13 FG | 4-4 FT | 4 REB | 1 AST | 2 STL | 2 BLK |

Jabari Parker is going to be a superstar in the NBA. That just seems inescapable at this point. There’s a certain flash of greatness that Parker demonstrates at times while he’s on the floor that you just don’t see from ordinary players. There were more than flashes against the Nuggets though, as Jabari turned in his best performance of the young season.

Michael Carter-Williams, A+

12 Points | 5-9 FG | 2-2 FT | 6 REB | 9 AST | 3 STL | 3 BLK |

I had to save the best for last in this one. This is exactly how Carter-Williams needs to play for the Bucks going forward–if he could consistently score a bit, while racking up assists on offense and steals, blocks and rebounds on defense he’d be the ideal starter for this team. MCW just needs to cut out the mistakes, or at least cut them down. He did that on Monday.
