  • Whether we know the full story about why Jerryd Bayless was a DNP on Wednesday night will rumble on for a while I’m sure, but Kidd’s logic of just wanting to have a look at Ennis really doesn’t make sense. Against one of the league’s most experienced point guards? With Greivis Vasquez already missing? Really, coach?
  • Would have been wise to consider other changes to the lineup to try and handle the obviously challenging matchup difficulties that facing San Antonion involves. Gregg Popovch was quick to react to patterns of play he noticed, hooking Aldridge early, it’s a pity Kidd couldn’t counter with adjustments of his own.
  • The Spurs were held below 100 points and shot only 41 percent, but much more alarming should be Milwaukee’s 33 percent from the field. Even against the league’s best defense, that’s not just an off night, it’s difficulty creating good looks.
