30. Jerryd Bayless Playoff Game Winner

Words by Ti Windisch

The Milwaukee Bucks had all but lost hope. The Young Bucks had fought hard in their first three battles against the Chicago Bulls, but lost by an average margin of almost ten points. Milwaukee still managed to hold on and found themselves tied with the Bulls with just 1.3 seconds remaining.

A miracle basket was all but necessary–although they had heart, the Bucks were an inferior team to the experienced, talented squad from Chicago. The Bulls were trying to end this series right there and then in Milwaukee.

They probably would have, too, if not for those meddling Jareds/Jerryds. A beautiful inbound pass from Jared Dudley to Jerryd Bayless led to an instant lay-up, and the end of that game. Milwaukee would carry that momentum all the way to Chicago where they took another game from the Bulls, before finally succumbing in Game 6.
