21. Mo Williams

Williams arrived in Milwaukee as a 22-year-old who had never started a professional game, and would leave as a point guard equipped to be one of LeBron James key teammates as he pushed hard for title contention in his first spell with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Williams is a creative, and not necessarily unwilling passer, but his game has always been more about scoring. The greater the responsibility that was place upon young Mo’s shoulders in Milwaukee, the more the former Alabama man appeared ready to thrive.

Williams grew into a player who looked more than capable of being the team’s starting point guard for many years to come, and with a five year contract under his belt, that’s what many assumed to be the plan. Instead, Williams was traded to Cleveland in a deal which brought the Bucks a terrible return.

During his time in Brewtown, Williams averaged 14.1 points per game and 15.9 points per 36 minutes. Add that to his strong passing, and Williams was a good conductor of Milwaukee’s offense during his time with the team.
