10. Sam Cassell

With Glenn Robinson and Ray Allen for company, it’s fair to say that Cassell is neither remembered as, nor was the most qualified to be a go-to scorer of Milwaukee’s early 00s “Big Three”, but the point guard certainly didn’t struggle to contribute points.

Cassell was one of the league’s more dominant point guards throughout his five seasons with the Bucks (the longest he stayed with any team), as he managed to combine 7.2 assists a game with an incredibly healthy dose of scoring.

Cassell was comfortable getting close to the rim, loved to shoot from in and around the free throw line, and although he was far from a deadeye three-point shooter, “Sam I Am” could certainly knock down the long ball. That was something that became a greater feature of his game as time went on with Milwaukee too.

Cassell may not have got the chance to bring the Bucks to the Finals, where he experienced so much success with other teams in his career, but averages of 19 points per game and 19.4 points per 36 are without a doubt nothing to turn your nose up at.
