Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

John Henson, B+

11 Points | 5-7 FG | 1-2 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 3 BLK |

He gets high marks for scoring in double digits and shooting above efficiency from the field. He was also a terror defensively, collecting three blocks while being a major force at the rim. His grades suffers because he only reeled in one (ONE!) rebound.

Johnny O’Bryant, B

4 Points | 2-4 FG | 0-0 FT | 4 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

As promised he gets an “A+” for the first quarter. Unfortunately grades are comprised of a composite score rather than just a single quarter. He brings top-level effort every single night and because of that effort he gets his fair share of offensive rebounds. Saturday night he had three.

Rashad Vaughn, C

3 Points | 1-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

He looks more confident taking shots thanks to a strong performance in the fourth quarter in Phoenix. That willingness to shoot is something we haven’t seen since the preseason. It’s also something to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

O.J. Mayo, D-

6 Points | 1-7 FG | 4-4 FT | 1 REB | 5 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK |

Mayo’s jumper wasn’t flowing, but he didn’t let that influence his total impact on the team. He still facilitated ball movement and was able to tally five assists. His grade really suffers from his 1-7 shooting. The Bucks need him to be able to hit jumpers. He took a blow to the chin and briefly left the game before. He gets credit for returning.

Tyler Ennis, B+

8 Points | 3-4 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 2 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

He played just eight minutes but was effective in that time, making three of his four field goal attempts. His marquee play was a nifty back-door cut to the basket where he received a nice bounce pass from Mayo for the easy layup.
