Reactions: The Bad

  • You knew you would get at least one of these playing against Kristaps Porzingis. He’s becoming an impressive player, capable of being a dominant force on both ends of the courts–like on this putback dunk and subsequent block on a spinning Jabari Parker.
  • The player with the highest (+/-) wasn’t Carmelo Anthony. It wasn’t Porzingis or Lopez either. Jose Calderon, of all people, finished with a whopping +34 in 29 minutes. Calderon hit two major threes. The first one came in the second quarter which sparked a big Knicks run. The second came in the fourth and ended the Bucks comeback hopes.
  • Will the real Michael Carter-Williams please stand up? After three consecutive games of rock-solid play, MCW reverted to his bad form. The front-line anchors of Porzingis and Lopez really messed with MCW’s ability to finish at the rim. He scored just four points on 1-8 shooting and in an increasingly alarming trend went just 2-4 from the FT line.
