Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

John Henson

8 Points | 4-8 FG | 0-2 FT | 3 REB | 3 AST | 0 STL | 5 BLK |

Henson had a nice bounce-back game, but like most of his fellow Bucks couldn’t hit a free throw to save his life. Still, recording the statistics he did in just 22 minutes is pretty crazy. Involved John Henson is a really good player.

O.J. Mayo, C-

5 Points | 2-9 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 4 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Making a three-point shot is cool, but it’s much less cool when it takes four attempts to make just one three. Juice’s season-long shooting slump has continued. Aside from the four assists, the only thing Mayo is offering to this team at the moment is leadership. Unless he turns around his play very quickly, he’s going to lose that reputation of being a useful bench shooter.

Rashad Vaughn

4 Points | 2-6 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 0 AST | 2 STL | 1 BLK |

Rashad has been going inside more, and it’s making him into a more complete player. The three-ball will be his bread and butter, but if he wants to add some grapes and cheese to his spread he’s got to get that inside game going. His defense has looked better, which isn’t saying much but it’s still nice to see.

Johnny O’Bryant

JOB didn’t really get a shot in this game. This was the biggest negative of the night. There was a fairly good reason, but giving a productive player like JOB just four minutes while O.J. Mayo gets 26 still feels wrong.
