Joe Prunty, B

  • The combination of: Middleton, Vaughn, Giannis, JOB, and Henson was the magic combination that led the Bucks back into the game in the third quarter. It shows Prunty’s willingness to experiment with strange lineups (Kidd wouldn’t dream of using that lineup, ever) in order to get results. Prunty looked to give Giannis and Middleton a break in the fourth, but threw them right back in when the Bucks faltered without them.
  • He decided to go with a forward-heavy lineup late in the fourth and got burned. Not because his team didn’t come up with stops or get rebounds, but because the Wizards were able to exploit that lineup for a handful of back-breaking threes.
