Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

John Henson

, A-

10 Points | 3-6 FG | 4-8 FT | 7 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 6 BLK |

His effort was tremendous, and in overtime he really came to the fore with two made free throws, a big assist and an energizing block. He doesn’t take over games in terms of usage, but he’ll win his battles and deliver the necessary cunter punches. His season has been incredibly stop-start but this epitomized what Henson can bring to the team.

Rashad Vaughn

The box score says that Henson played 12 minutes against Atlanta, but I’m hard pushed remembering do anything of note during his time on the floor. Playing 12 minutes without a statistical contribution is an impressive feat. Joking aside, as a rookie, it’s not unusual to have nights on the periphery and that was certainly where Vaughn was in this one.

Johnny O’Bryant

, C+

4 Points | 2-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 1 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Steady as ever. We used to laugh when saying things like this, but it really has become a joy to watch O’Bryant play. He’ll quietly do exactly what’s required of him without trying to press in any way. If the Bucks had more guys like that this season may be in better shape overall. What an unbelievable thing it is to be able to say that too.

Tyler Ennis

Would have been expected to have a pretty significant role with Bayless, Mayo and Vasquez all injured, but that didn’t transpire. I’m not sure if that’s a good sign for Ennis, but it’s a sign of progress for players like MCW and Middleton as ball-handlers.
