Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

John Henson

, B

6 Points | 2-4 FG | 2-4 FT | 7 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 3 BLK |

Continued where he left off after a strong showing against the Hawks and based on current form he should continue to have a really significant role with the team. He offers a strong defensive counterpoint to Monroe’s energy at center and perhaps most importantly for both player and team alike, Henson really seems to be enjoying himself of late. He’s known for his sunny disposition, but Henson’s smile has seemed even broader than usual this week, and the evidence is suggesting that a happy and confident John Henson is valuable to the Bucks.

Jerryd Bayless

, C

3 Points | 1-5 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 6 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK |

The Bucks certainly needed Bayless back to help shore up their point guard depth, but it wasn’t his best game as he tried to feel his way back from his recurring ankle problems. The veteran distributed well with his six assists, the problem came more from his poor shooting. He made a single triple, but aside from that his shot was painfully wayward.

Rashad Vaughn

8 Points | 2-4 FG | 2-2 FT | 2 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

After an uneventful performance against the Hawks, Rashad Vaughn was instrumental in a strong second quarter showing from the Bucks. Knocking down 2-3 from deep, it’s hard to believe that he’s only shooting 30 percent from the field on the season as his stroke looks as smooth and confident as ever. Let’s hope we get some more of this soon.

Johnny O’Bryant

, C-

4 Points | 1-6 FG | 2-2 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 1 BLK |

He made a super smooth jump shot very quickly after arriving into the game, but would go on to have easily his worst shooting game in a long time in his minutes that followed. Defensive positioning was good as usual, although he has certainly played better.

Tyler Ennis

0 Points | 0-0 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

If Ennis was a real favorite of Jason Kidd‘s, it sure seems like Joe Prunty doesn’t quite have the same confidence in the young point guard. Ennis’ role continues to be limited to garbage time, and for the second straight night, the former Syracuse man’s impact was restricted to a single assist.

Miles Plumlee

0 Points | 0-0 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Another player who definitely gets greater opportunity under Kidd, but then again, with Henson playing well does Plumlee really merit greater run? With the trade deadline inching ever closer, Plumlee’s situation will remain one worth monitoring.

Chris Copeland
Chris Copeland /

, C

3 Points | 1-1 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

This might just be Copeland’s best game of the season. In two minutes of play he made a three-pointer with his one and only attempt (100 percent from the field!!) Not to get greedy here, but Copeland also grabbed a rebound. I guess everything really did go right for the Bucks in Charlotte.

Next: Joe Prunty
