Player of the Week Rankings
1. ???
2. ???
3. Khris Middleton

This guy has truly been playing some of the best basketball of his young career lately. Khris Middleton seems like a calm and relaxed person and his personality off the court seems to influence his playing style on the court. He is never out of control. He has calm aura around him even while he is doing difficult things like attacking the defense on the fast break.

This week Middleton played in all five games and averaged 22.2 points (48.9% shooting), 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.2 steals in 40.4 minutes per game. He led the team in scoring and was third in both assists and steals. His +/- of +3.6 was the fifth best on the Bucks and the third best of players who participated in more than one game this week.

Middleton scored 20 or more points in four of the last five contests. He had point totals of: 20, 16, 25, 26, and 24. In the only game where he scored less than 20, he had his best all around performance with nine assists and six rebounds.

His scoring was consistently excellent this week. He did however claim one of his highest usage rates ever. Coupled with that high usage rate of 24.4, was a really low three-point shooting percentage, 20%. Middleton took four threes per game and missed most of them. His high usage rate and low three-point shooting percentage were two factors that kept him from being higher on the Player of the Week Rankings.

Despite some atypical negatives from Khris, he did a lot of good things for Milwaukee. Usually Middleton gets to the free throw line 3.8 times a game. This week he got there 5.2 times a game. When Middleton gets to the line he typically makes them, shooting 80.8% in the last five games.

Another positive thing he did was make few mistakes. You can always count on Middleton to not do something stupid. He rarely fouls and is excellent at not turning the ball over. Even with his high usage rate this week Middleton managed to not turn it over too much.

Khash was a major contributor for the Bucks in a down week for himself. He played well in both the wins and the losses and did not make many silly mistakes. He took on the role of the number one offensive option and besides missing threes at a higher rate than usual he performed admirably in that role.

If he can keep doing things like this, Bucks fans will be happy.
