Michael Carter-Williams – 5.8 assists per game – 18th in the NBA

Another thing that’s changed since last month: people (sort of) believe in Michael Carter-Williams now! There’s still a fairly large portion of Bucks fans that don’t trust him as the team’s lead guard, but MCW is certainly starting to win people over with his play this season.

He’s had some stinker games, but been largely effective this season. Although 2.9 turnovers per game is still high, Carter-Williams is sporting a 2.0 assist to turnover ratio. It’s not spectacular, but it’ll do.

In a very surprising turn of events, MCW is shooting 44 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range! He can shoot now! Except from the free throw line, where he’s making just 67 percent of his foul shots. Oh, MCW.

Carter-Williams is having an impact on the defensive end too, but I’ll tell you about that in the next slide.
