Reactions: The Good

  • As I’ve already mentioned, the Bucks did a lot of the things that you would have asked of them. Rebounded, shared the ball, limited Houston free throw attempts while getting to the line themselves. You just have to chalk it up as one of those nights.
  • Khris Middleton is still playing like a superstar. Not only did his 21 points continued his strong scoring run, but he remained the team’s greatest playmaker too. His team high seven assists ironically included setting up a couple of alley-oops to his point guard Michael Carter-Williams. It’s not easy to match up with these Bucks.
  • Jabari Parker had another solid game in a run of many of late. He was efficient with his shooting (5-9 from the field), aggressive on the boards (10 rebounds) and even showed some nice passing touch (four assists). More of the same, please.
  • John Henson may have only played 18 minutes but continued his recent good play with eight points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks. With the Rockets one of the league’s worst teams when it comes to defending the paint, he arguably should have had even greater time on the floor.
