Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Starters

Michael Carter-Williams

, B

11 Points | 4-11 FG | 3-5 FT | 12 REB | 5 AST | 2 STL | 0 BLK |

12 rebounds and he finds himself on the finishing end of a couple of alley-oop dunks. This is the type of game that perfectly sums up the allure and the puzzle that is MCW. He can do things that very few point guards are capable of, yet matching your field goal makes with turnovers will never be a good thing.

Khris Middleton

, B+

21 Points| 8-21 FG | 4-4 FT | 1 REB | 7 AST | 1 STL | 1 BLK |

His high scoring continued even though his three-point shooting remains not at his best (1-7). What’s more important is his command over what the Bucks do offensively. His vision and passing are so impressive and it feels like he could be the man to lead the team in both points and assists for a long time to come.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

, B

18 Points | 7-12 FG | 4-4 FT | 6 REB | 2 AST | 1 STL | 1 BLK |

Was aggressive in attacking the basket which is always a good thing, and certainly seems to have more of a spring in his step than he did a few weeks ago. His defense needs to be monitored though as we already know that he has everything required to be one of the best perimeter defenders in the league.

Jabari Parker

, B+

11 Points | 5-9 FG | 1-2 FT | 10 REB | 4 AST | 2 STL | 2 BLK |

This was a nice game for Jabari even if he still isn’t showing the type of dominant offensive energy that many had hoped and expected to see from him this far into the season. One sign that was still particularly encouraging was the burst of pace that Parker showed on occasion to be able to pave a clear path to the basket where his finishing ability is not in question.

Greg Monroe
Greg Monroe /

, B+

21 Points| 10-17 FG | 1-3 FT | 9 REB | 3 AST | 0 STL | 4 BLK |

His streak of double-doubles came to an end at six, as Monroe failed to record 10 or more rebounds for the first time in eight games. That’s not to say that Monroe didn’t have a good game by any means, and it was his aggression and energy early on that allowed the Bucks to stay in reach when many of his teammates were struggling.
