Bucks Player of the Week Rankings
1. ???
2. Khris Middleton
3. Jabari Parker

Khris had another awesome week. He scored at will, stretched the floor by shooting a lot and making over 38 percent of his threes, and was an excellent distributor that sported the teams best assist to turnover ratio of 2.1. Once again Khash was the catalyst for the Bucks offense.

Middleton played in three games this week and averaged 37.2 minutes, 21.7 points (38.9 percent shooting from three), 5.0 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.o steals per game. He led the team in scoring and assists and was tied for second in steals. He also led the team in three-point attempts and three-point shooting percentage, which is never an easy feat.

The first game of the week was by far Middleton’s best. Against Miami, Khris had 22 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and zero turnovers. He led the Bucks in plus/minus with +20 and also was the best defender in the game for Milwaukee. Middleton was assigned to guard Dwyane Wade a majority of the game and he did a splendid job by holding him to two points. Wade had more turnovers than points.

In the second contest against Houston, Middleton put up 21 points, one rebound, seven assists, one steal, and a block. He masterfully orchestrated the Bucks offense by leading the team in both points and assists. He did struggle from three, evidenced by his shooting 1-7.

Here is an example of Middleton leading the fast break from this game. His floor vision is excellent right now and he sees through the taller defenders that his point guard is open for the alley oop. Khris throws a perfect pass that hits MCW exactly where he needs it to get the easy bucket. Middleton makes this look easy yet it is anything but.

In the third game against New Orleans, Khris performed well. He had 22 points on 50 percent shooting, seven rebounds and five assists. He shot lights out from three as well going 4-7. It was a nice bounce back from his shooting performance in the Houston game.

Middleton is playing like the point guard on this team quite often. He is more than capable of facilitating the offense when MCW has poor performances (i.e. a zero assist game). The Bucks are a much more dangerous team when Khash has the ball in his hands and that is why he is on the Bucks Player of the Week Rankings.
