We saw a little bit of the many sides of MCW. There was his ability to score in traffic and haul in rebounds at a great rate for a guard. But then there was his 0-2 from three point range, one assist, and trying-too-much turnover on a fast break attempt.

Khris Middleton

After his twelve point first quarter K-Midd made just one of his next eight shots. He still got it done defensively–hauling in three steals–but the dead-eye aspect of Middleton’s game was conspicuously absent for most of Thursday night.

Not exactly his finest hour. He certainly felt slighted by the refs as evidenced by his dismissal from the game. This was one of those nights where Giannis couldn’t get it going early and allowed that to impact his play later in the game. This was one of those nights where we are reminded just how much he needs to add a consistent jumper to his game.

Jabari Parker

Jabari never really got it going offensively, but did show a level of aggressiveness on the glass that we seldom see from the young player. As usual he made a handful of nice cuts–and was rewarded with a pair of easy field goals right at the rim.

Greg Monroe

Moose was an absolute handful for Marc Gasol and the Grizzlies interior defense. Monroe kept the Bucks afloat with his 10 point, 4-5 second quarter. By halftime Monroe scored 17 points. But as the game got out of hand Monroe’s role diminished.
