  • There’s not really much more that you can ask of a guy whose bench goes 1-deep right now. Mayo, Vasquez, and Henson were all unavailable for this game–leaving Bayless as the lone experienced option. Perhaps if the Bucks can position themselves correctly before the All-Star break they could make a run when their bench depth returns, but until then Kidd is going to struggle to find quality minutes from the injury-stricken unit.
  • He surrendered at the right time. All five of his starters played less than four minutes in the final period, with Monroe and MCW getting none. Despite the loss, at least the Bucks starters should be nice and fresh for Friday night’s game against the Heat.
