He scored sixteen in 26 minutes while making great decisions, not forcing the issue, and finishing tough baskets at the rim. When he doesn’t force the issue he can be really effective. We saw some of that effectiveness Tuesday night.

Greg Monroe

Jason Kidd said after the game that Monroe should be first in line for sixth man of the year. Monroe was dominant. He bullied the Celtics all night. That is, until they decided to double down on him and force others around Monroe to make an impact. But with the game on the line the Celtics still couldn’t stop Moose.

Jerryd Bayless, B+

Aside from that ridiculous foul on Olynyk in the game’s waning moments Bayless was spectacular. His three point shooting was excellent. 4-6. Proponents of a potential Bayless trade are no doubt thrilled with his strong performances of late.

He was left wide open about a foot and a half beyond the three-point line. He hesitated for a moment, but snapped off the shot and nailed it. He’s really beginning to make a name for himself as a dead-eye three point shooter.
