Reactions: The Bad

  • Marcin Gortat and Nene got to do close to whatever they wanted on both ends of the floor. Plumlee couldn’t handle them defensively early on and they contained Greg Monroe with considerable ease for most of the evening.
  • As great as Middleton’s playmaking was, the Bucks won’t want to have to rely on it. In this game, they had no choice though. Whether it was O.J. Mayo, MCW or Jerryd Bayless, Milwaukee’s point guards offered them very little in a positive sense.
  • John Henson remains out with a lingering back issue which the team will hope clears up over the All-Star break, but Johnny O’Bryant also seems to have fallen completely out of the rotation. Jabari played 40 minutes and with Henson out, dropping JOB entirely would appear to create undue pressure on the front court players who do take to the court.
