Stephen Curry

Odds: -110

If we were going to decide the Three-Point Contest based purely on form and reputation, there would be very little point for seven of the guys in this field to show up.

Stephen Curry is not only the league’s reigning MVP, but also the reigning Three-Point Contest champion too. The Warriors point guard has followed in the footsteps of his father Dell Curry as a sharpshooter, and is now well on his way to cementing his legacy as the greatest shooter the game has ever seen.

For his career so far, Curry averages a formidable 44.3 percent from deep, which coincidentally is also the exact mark he sits at for his last five games. On the season overall, Curry is even ahead of that curve making 45.4 percent of his three-pointers.

It’s tough to pick against Curry considering it seems like he no longer feels pressure, and has already succeeded on this stage only 12 months ago. Saying that, there are more than enough guys capable of challenging him in Toronto, and all it takes in this event is a slightly slow start and the score can get away from you. He’s formidable, but not unbeatable.
