Kyle Lowry

Odds: +800

There can be no doubting who the crowd will be cheering on in the Air Canada Center on Saturday night. Raptors star Kyle Lowry will likely have all of Toronto willing him on when he steps up to the rack for his Three-Point Contest run.

Lowry is a player who isn’t necessarily thought of as a shooter, and that’s simply because as one of the league’s best point guards he’s adept at doing so much more than that too.

For his career, Lowry only averages 35.4 percent on his three-point attempts, a number which is unlikely to strike fear into the heart of any of his opponents on this occasion. Saying that, Lowry has improved dramatically in that regard in recent years, with a 39.2 percent mark on the season and 42.1 percent in his last five games.

Lowry’s chances are probably a little overrated, and there are certainly much better shooters in the field. There’s always a possibility that the crowd and their energy manages to blow Lowry’s shots into the hoop though.
