James Harden

Odds: +1100

There are shooters and there are scorers, and James Harden is certainly the latter. Harden can score the ball unlike all but a handful of players in the NBA, and without question a significant weapon in his arsenal over the years has been the three-point shot.

In spite of never appearing towards the top of the league in terms of three-point efficiency, for a player with such a high volume of attempts Harden has done a great job of keeping his percentages solid over the years.

For his career, Harden averages 36.8 percent on his shots from behind the three-point line. This season that number is a little lower at 35.5 percent due to a horrendous start to the year, while in his last five games, Harden made 40.9 percent of his triples.

If the Three-Point Contest is all about timing, Harden certainly has the ability to get hot and go on the sort of tear that could result in him raising the trophy when all is said and done.
