C.J. McCollum expected to be in Toronto for little more than to participate in the Skills Challenge on All-Star Weekend, but following a last minute injury to Chris Bosh, he was a late addition to the three-point field also.
McCollum is having a true breakout season, teaming up with Damian Lillard to provide Portland with one of the league’s most deadly offensive backcourts.
For his career, McCollum is making 39 percent of his three-point attempts in the NBA, and this year he’s doing slightly better again at a mark of 39.2 percent. In his last five, McCollum has averaged 42.9 percent from behind the arc.
