Chances of a Deal

Like any trade in the NBA, there are so many moving parts that making a deal here could be a challenge. Saying that, I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out that it was mutually beneficial in enough ways for both parties to find reason to pull the trigger.

That’s purely because there are so many different ways in which a deal could go down to land Plumlee in Minnesota.

If the Bucks remain eager to move him, and the Timberwolves really want him, a small scale deal with a minor asset returning in Milwaukee’s favor seems like it could be completed with minimal fuss.

On a larger scale, if both teams have pieces they’re interested in moving, and a bigger deal works that could solve multiple problems for both sides, you’d have to have little doubt that it would be explored in detail.
