Inconsistency Has Been The Consistency

While the year has been filled with disappointment, this Bucks season has had its fair share of peaks and valleys.

The Bucks have had benchmark victories over the Cleveland Cavaliers and the once-undefeated Golden State Warriors, but they’ve followed those games up by being blown out by lowly teams like the Los Angeles Lakers.

The reasons for that have been many but nothing bigger than the inconsistent effort from players on the defensive end in the many losses the team went through during the first half of the season.

Additionally, the team’s second unit has failed to deliver on a nightly basis and other than Jerryd Bayless (who’s having a career year), it would be completely nonexistent. Lingering injuries to players O.J. Mayo and recently John Henson have been to blame, but underwhelming players like Chris Copeland haven’t helped either.

Yet this is a young Bucks team and with many players that have room to grow, it’s easy to see why the Bucks have been taking their lumps this season.
