Failing To Live Up To Expectations

Whether you bought into the hype or tempered expectations before the season began, every Bucks fan has felt the letdown of this season.

After going through a truly surprising season last year and a landmark offseason, the buzz surrounding the team heading into the season was at a level we haven’t seen in a long time.

However, the moves that were made in order to acquire Monroe have hurt the Bucks this year as those productive veterans like Jared Dudley and Zaza Pachulia that were essential to the team’s success last year have continued to thrive on their new teams, respectively.

Additionally, making the move to sign Monroe felt like he team was ready to take a bigger step, but due to reasons like his fit, that obviously hasn’t been the case unfortunately.

Nevertheless, the team’s future still remains bright due to the amount of promising players on the Bucks, but we’re just going to have to wait longer to see if the team’s current core can build themselves into the contender that we’re all hoping they can be.
