The Bucks came out of the All-Star break ready to play. They competed hard in their two games this week, winning one and losing the other. That will not help them make up ground in the playoff race but that is not so consequential now.
Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team in usage rate this week. If that is a sign of more to come this season then I think it is a good thing. The Bucks need to find out what they have with their future franchise players. Letting them play now will help them grow and figure out what kind of players they can be in this league sooner rather than later.
The best part about it is that both Giannis and Jabari played really well with the game in their hands. That led to the Bucks playing well as a team. If the rest of the season plays out like this Bucks fans will be happy, even if the team struggles.
Milwaukee plays three games next week, two of which are at home. If they can win the home games they will help themselves in the playoff race. If not, then the Bucks will be one step closer to a nice lottery pick. As long as Giannis and Jabari are getting big minutes, the Bucks cannot lose.
