Michael Carter-Williams – 1.5 steals per game – 24th in the NBA

MCW’s steals per game have dropped off too, and he now leads Khris Middleton by just 0.1 steals per game. That’s a tight margin, and Money Middleton might be able to leapfrog Carter-Williams if the latter remains a bench player for the Bucks.

Milwaukee has been a fairly average team in terms of steals per game, so it makes sense that the leading Buck in that category would be so far down the steals per game leaderboard. It still sucks though–it’s always nice to see Milwaukee represented near the top of lists, not at the bottom of the page.

With the weird rotations and uncertain starting lineups this season, it’s tough for anyone besides Khris, Giannis, and Jabari to remain consistent. While the moving parts around those three have been good at times, holding a top ten spot in one of these stat categories from the bench certainly isn’t easy.

Well, it was pretty easy for the Bucks leading shot-blocker. But he’s more of an exception than a rule.
