The lottery is looming. The Bucks aren’t as good as they were last year. That does not mean this season isn’t as important though. The organization put so much more of the burden on the young players this season and it is not surprising that they have struggled to perform as admirably as the veterans did last season.

With these struggles comes hope though. The team is learning what it takes to compete in the NBA on a regular basis. The growth the Bucks experience this season will hopefully jettison them to a playoff push next year.

It is important that we realize this team is very future oriented. We can all see what kind of potential they hold. It is only a matter of time and they will start being a team that no one wants to play.

It might not be so bad to add a nice draft pick to the mix. Getting a top talent who can grow and develop with this team might be just what the Bucks need to get them over the hump of a tough playoff series in two or three years. Who knows, we will just have to wait and find out.
