Reactions: The Good

  • Jabari scored 36! Giannis Antetokounmpo had his second triple double in a week! Khris Middleton scored 30! No matter how many times I say it, it doesn’t get old. Giannis to Jabari was particularly deadly Monday, like on this third quarter play.
  • But Giannis was just repaying this second quarter favor that Jabari served up for him (had Jabari not blown a dunk and given up these two he would have scored 40…just saying).
  • Meanwhile, Rashad Vaughn scored seven points on 3-3 shooting while playing very good defense, and still found time to light the internet ablaze.
  • Welcome back Jerryd Bayless. The bulldog scored 18 points and hit 5-8 on three-pointers including a pair of late triples that seemed to seal the Bucks victory (nothing is ever sealed this season, but still).
  • Here’s a full highlight reel of Jabari’s (to this point) career performance.
  • Lost in all the hype of Giannis’ triple double is the fact that his rebounds line wasn’t a paltry ten or eleven or even fourteen. Seventeen. The Milwaukee Bucks collectively pulled in 32 rebounds. You do the math. Over half of the Milwaukee Bucks rebounds were pulled in by Giannis Antetokounmpo. The guy is a star.
