Reactions: The Bad

  • Also lost in Giannis’ triple double is the fact that he was awful at the free throw line. He shot 4-11 from the line and at one point was just 1-7. He’s been going through a funk from the charity stripe lately. While this situation shouldn’t concern you just yet (he’s 74.5% on the season) it’s certainly a development worth monitoring.
  • The Bucks had no answer for Dwight Howard. That’s ok, really. When Howard is the biggest, baddest dude on the court he’s often dominant. Howard scored 30 on 12-20 shooting, and was the benefactor of a couple and-one layups as well as big time dunk after big time dunk.
  • The Bucks nearly coughed this one up. Even after taking a double-digit lead with a few minutes left. That was largely because of their inability to take care of the ball. The Bucks were credited with just three turnovers in the fourth quarter, but it sure felt like a lot more than that. Turnovers were a serious issue all night long as the Bucks gave it away 17 times, and nearly gave the game away in doing so.
