Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

Greg Monroe
Greg Monroe /

, B

10 Points | 5-9 FG | 0-0 FT | 6 REB | 4 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Moose didn’t really fit into the Bucks push the tempo game-plan. He was efficient with the 20 minutes that he played, notching a +10, but seemed to slow down the pace when the Bucks just really wanted to get out and run.

Rashad Vaughn

, A+

7 Points | 3-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Vaughn came into the game guns-a-blazin, hitting two shots in quick succession including a three pointer that was well beyond the arc. The Rockets made sure to challenge him every time he touched the ball after that, allowing teammates to take advantage Houston’s resulting defensive holes. He gets a “plus” for that sultry fourth quarter camera gaze.

Johnny O’Bryant

0 Points | 0-1 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

He didn’t play much (four minutes), but still brought the energy and hustle we’ve come to expect. He did take a long range two, which banged off the back of the rim, and was shown the bench shortly thereafter.

Jerryd Bayless, A+

18 Points | 6-10 FG | 1-2 FT | 3 REB | 4 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Bayless sure was missed. But when you add a top-five three point shooter (this season) to the mix only good things will happen. And they did Monday night. Bayless was 5-8 from beyond the arc and nailed the triple that gave Giannis his triple double. Also absent during Bayless’ convalescence was the bulldog mentality and toughness that he brings to the team. Like in the fourth quarter when he forced a turnover and howled (yes: howled) in Beverley’s face. You gotta love it.
