  • It was interesting that he put the ball in Giannis’ hands for most of the game. Regardless, when things got tight down the stretch it was either Bayless or Middleton doing to majority of the ball-handling. Does that suggest a level of mistrust remains in Giannis’ new-found responsibilities? Perhaps an understanding of Giannis’ turnover-prone tendencies? Either way it was not Giannis handling the ball with the game on the line.
  • During this Monroe off the bench experiment we’ve seen Kidd get antsy and put Monroe in during the stretch minutes of the fourth. A strange strategy considering Giannis and Jabari seem to function better without Monroe than with him. Monday night Kidd went with Plumlee in crunch time and the Bucks never broke their stride–save for some awful last minute turnovers.
