Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

Tyler Ennis
Tyler Ennis /

, B-

10 Points | 4-8 FG | 2-3 FT | 4 REB | 3 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

The up-and-down Ennis was able to do some good things in the fourth quarter, scoring six points on 3-4 shooting in the period. Garbage time or not those are good numbers. He has 14 games to make a strong impression and earn more minutes heading into next season. The needle is certainly pointing up with him.

John Henson, B

6 Points | 2-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Welcome back, John Henson! His return will provide desperately needed depth to a bench that is depleted. Unfortunately that depth comes at a position where the Bucks are fairly strong at with Monroe and Plumlee giving consistent minutes. Perhaps we will see some Henson or Plumlee at forward? Tinker, Jason Kidd, tinker.

He earned a quick hook in the second quarter after just a minute and a half of play. I believe it was related to his defense (or lack thereof). We still don’t know enough about his game to label him anything (he’s still 19), but right now his role on the Bucks is murky and undefined.

Johnny O’Bryant

2 Points | 1-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

What bothers me most about his game is that he insists on taking that mid-range jumper. It doesn’t bother me because it’s a shot he can’t make–I’ve seen him hit plenty. What bothers me is that the Bucks can always get a better shot than a JOB jumper.

Miles Plumlee, B

6 Points | 2-5 FG | 2-2 FT | 3 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Plumlee is the Bucks only consistent bench option right now. He’s certainly earned himself a big pay raise come contract time thanks to his solid and consistent play. Hopefully Jason Kidd finds a way to secure his continued minutes with the return of Henson.
