Milwaukee Bucks Player of the Week Rankings
1. ???
2. Khris Middleton
3. Jabari Parker

The former 39th overall pick played in all three games this week and averaged 33.0 minutes, 13.7 points (38.5 percent shooting from three), 2.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.3 steals per game.

He led the Milwaukee Bucks in steals, was second in assists, and was third in points. Additionally, he had the third best plus/minus on the team, +2.0, of all players who played in all three games this week.

Khris Middleton was solid this week. He had a crisp 2.0 assist to turnover ratio. Not amazing but definitely good. Ever since Giannis Antetokounmpo has taken over the lead facilitator role Middleton’s assist numbers have dropped off somewhat. This week was no different.

But man, when Khris has an opportunity to make a pass he will do it without hesitating.

Beyond facilitating, Middleton also played well on the defensive end of the floor. In fact, no player in the NBA had more steals than Khris did over their past three games. Middleton has been doing a fantastic job since the All Star break of getting steals. He is averaging 2.8 steals per game over that time. That is the best mark in the NBA as well.

Even though this wasn’t his best shooting week it is still important to mention Khris shot just under 40 percent from three on 4.3 attempts per game. The threat that he provides as a shooter opens the floor up for his teammates.

Khris’ shooting impact is especially important to the Milwaukee Bucks because besides him they only have one other valid three-point threat, Jerryd Bayless.

Middleton did a little bit of everything this week. He spread the defense out by hitting threes, got his teammates involved, and played excellent defense. His swiss army knife performance is what earned him the second spot in the player of the week rankings.
