Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

Tyler Ennis

, B+

5 Points | 2-4 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 6 AST | 2 STL | 0 BLK |

Tyler Ennis deserved a lot of credit for his play on Sunday. He was doing a lot of the simple things right, but even more importantly he was trying incredibly hard. Following up his career night against Memphis with another strong showing should be important for his confidence. He’s never going to be a star, but the Bucks have spent a lot of time relying on wildly inconsistent players in recent years, and if Ennis can be a steady presence that would be valuable.

John Henson, C+

8 Points | 3-6 FG | 2-2 FT | 2 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 3 BLK |

After an eventful night against the Grizzlies, Sunday allowed Henson the chance to get back to basketball. Continuing his comeback from injury, he did well for the most part too. Henson offered flashes of his familiar lefty hook, while his shot blocking remains in good order also. The negatives of his performance were mostly matchup based as the Jazz got away from Milwaukee by stretching the floor out against Milwaukee’s big lineup, but that can hardly be blamed on him.

Jared Cunningham

4 Points | 0-1 FG | 4-4 FT | 1 REB | 1 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Cunningham is yet to make a field goal as a Buck, but he showed intriguing aggression and determination across the floor in his debut. That obviously played a part in him getting to the free throw line, but was also evident with his enthusiasm on defensive rotations. Whether he even gets to see out his 10 day remains to be seen with Greivis Vasquez back in practice, but it at least seems like it should be interesting to get a look at what he has to offer in the meantime.

Johnny O’Bryant

0 Points | 0-0 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Didn’t play long enough to make any real influence in a positive or negative sense, and that’s something that’ll likely continue as the season winds down. With Kidd experimenting with two big man frontcourts, JOB is likely to stay on the outside looking in.

Miles Plumlee

7 Points | 3-4 FG | 1-4 FT | 2 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 3 BLK |

Chances are that wherever you’re reading this right now, if you were to toss a ball up in the air, Miles Plumlee would appear to slam it home. We’ve all grown used to what we get from Plumlee now, and to be honest, it’s not doing much to lessen his appeal. Always active, always engaged.

Damien Inglis

2 Points | 1-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Seven minutes wasn’t enough for Inglis fever to reach the heights that it had in Milwaukee’s previous outing, but seeing him out there again was certainly positive. If Kidd isn’t prepared to risk losses by learning a little more about some of his younger players between now and the end of the season, there’d be little point in us all tuning in.
