  • If you’re fixed on seeing the positives in the run-in of this disappointing season, Kidd needs to be praised for continuing to experiment with his rotations. He once sneered at the notion of playing with two big men on the floor, but now he’s at least seeing how it can look.
  • Just because Kidd is set on rolling out some new looks in his lineup, doesn’t mean that he should stop taking the opposition into consideration though. There’s still a need to coach smart. The Jazz certainly present more opportunities than most teams to counter by playing big. After early success with that lineup, Quin Snyder adjusted as the game went on, and Kidd didn’t. Utah would go on an 18-6 run as the Bucks found themselves running with the wrong lineup at the wrong time. It would cost Milwaukee the game.
