Reactions: The Bad

  • The Bucks absolutely failed when it came to rebounding the basketball. They were out-rebounded 42-31 and gave up four offensive rebounds in the fourth quarter in moments where it was absolutely necessary for them to get possession back. Most of the reason for the Bucks rebounding futility can be attributed to the front-line being a collective no show for the entire night. Monroe had two rebounds, Henson and Plumlee had three each, and Jabari chipped in a loner. That’s not going to get it done against the Eastern Conference’s best.
  • So LeBron James is going to do his thing. Sometimes you just have to sit back and enjoy the show.
  • The Bucks made three more field goals than the Cavaliers on three less attempts. Out-shooting your opponent is usually a major key to winning so how then (besides rebounding) did the Bucks give this game up? Fouls. The Bucks committed 24 fouls to the Cavaliers 17 resulting in 27 Cavaliers free throws to the Bucks paltry 17.
