Jason Kidd, B-

  • Having run deeper with his bench and reduced the burn on his starters in recent games, Kidd turned back to extending the minutes of his starting group out a little again on this occasion. Once he’s not burning them out that’s not the worst thing, but considering Atlanta’s length on the wing, it was a little strange that he chose not to give Damien Inglis any burn at all.
  • The Plumlee/Henson experiment continues with more success than could have ever possibly have been anticipated, but much more importantly, in a strong performance from Henson we got to see him play alongside the starters when the game reached its business end. It’s vital that Kidd gets a sense of how that works before the team makes any decisions this summer, so that was certainly nice to see.
