Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Starters

Jerryd Bayless

, F

2 Points | 1-7 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Bayless was downright awful on Saturday night. He must have stayed out too late the night before, or had food poisoning, or something. His shot was off, he didn’t get much of anything else done in terms of rebounding and passing, and his defense was mediocre. Shake this one off and finish up a fantastic season in proper form, Bayless.

Khris Middleton, C+

13 Points| 6-10 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 5 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Expectations are funny. Last season, this would’ve been a nice game from Khris Middleton. Now, it’s a fairly disappointing one. Khash made 60 percent of his shots and racked up five assists, but he didn’t exactly tear up the Hornets. Middleton certainly wasn’t the worst Buck on Saturday, but he wasn’t the best either.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, D

8 Points | 3-9 FG | 2-2 FT | 3 REB | 1 AST | 2 STL | 0 BLK |

This was the worst game Point Giannis has had in a while, and maybe ever. Giannis was subbed out for Rashad Vaughn early, and never really got back to form after. Batum did well on him on defense, but Giannis needs to get more involved than this on a nightly basis. Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

Jabari Parker

, B

15 Points | 6-13 FG | 2-2 FT | 7 REB | 4 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK

Parker was the best starter, and he didn’t have a great night by his standards. ‘Bari did work outside of just scoring though, which is a nice change from his usual night. He was one assist away from tying his career-high. If Jabari keeps dishing the rock, he might be able to set a new career high by the end of the season.

Greg Monroe, F

12 Points| 3-7 FG | 6-8 FT | 6 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Monroe got to the line often, but nothing can make up for how badly he got dominated by Cody Zeller of all people. Zeller is a good player, but he bottled up Monroe like he was prime Bill Russell. Monroe failed to make a field goal in the first half, and he was blocked three times.
