Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

John Henson, A+
19 Points | 8-10 FG | 3-3 FT | 8 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 3 BLK |
John Henson was really good, again. Shooting 80 percent from the field and 100 percent from the charity stripe is impressive for any player, but doubly so for one relegated to the bench all season. If he can continue to convert a high rate of his shots and be a defensive anchor, the Bucks might have themselves a low-budget version of DeAndre Jordan locked up for the next four years. Although Jordan is the superior rebounder, Henson is much more dynamic offensively. That hook shot is reliable.

Plumlee was quiet against the Hornets. He finished a few beautiful dunks, and that was about the end of his contributions. Plumlee is the ideal backup center–a good-enough defender who is reliable and always ready to jump into a game with his energy up.

Rashad Vaughn, C-
5 Points | 2-7 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |
Vaughn’s D-League experience didn’t seem to help him much against Charlotte. He converted a drive late against the Hornets. Aside from that and his passing, there wasn’t much to like about Rashad’s game. The rook needs to start showing some growth, and soon.

Tyler Ennis, A+
9 Points | 4-10 FG | 0-0 FT | 4 REB | 12 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |
Tyler Ennis is good! At least he looks good, recently. Recording 12 assists in limited minutes is impressive. Ennis’ passing performance was just the fifth time a Buck has recorded 12 or more assists this season, and his 28 minutes played is lower than all four of MCW and Giannis’ 12 assist performances (they each did it twice).

JOB made a rare appearance in the last five minutes or so, and didn’t do a whole lot. He made a nice baseline jumper but missed his other three shots. O’Bryant might’ve lost his powers when he cut his hair.

Inglis took a three and got an assist, both of which were cool things. Sadly he missed the three and failed to score a single point, but it was garbage time. It would’ve been nice to see Ingis a bit earlier in this one, considering how quickly things got out of hand. Throwing him at Batum and seeing what the rookie could do would’ve been fun to see.
