Reactions: The Good

  • The big three handled all of the scoring from roughly the seven minute mark of the fourth until a minute and a half left (where Henson made a pair of free throws), from there Middleton hit a dagger three that put the Suns away. This is how things should be. As fans we rest our hopes in their development. Wednesday’s effort in the fourth quarter was a strong indicator of their collective growth.
  • Here’s Middleton turning out the lights.
  • Welcome back, Greivis Vaszquez. After missing the last thousand games or so he came back firing, showing no signs of rust. He didn’t score, but he was active in the offense, facilitating three assists. This was his first.
  • Jabari Parker took 11 free throws to go with five rebounds (three offensive) and four steals. Yeah, that Jabari Parker; you know, the one that shies away from contact and is unwilling to get his nose dirty defensively. Yep, the same one who some NBA pundits began to give up on while drawing whispers of comparisons to Derrick Williams and Michael Beasley. We never gave up did we, Bucks fans. Holding faith is what we do best around here.
  • Speaking of holding faith. My faith that Giannis Antetokounmpo will be an All-Star next season is turning into more of a certainty by the day. From what I can tell the key to stopping Giannis is holding your ground and forcing him to make a split-second decision. That appeared to be Alex Len‘s approach on this play. Oops.
