  • He sat both Monroe and Inglis for the entire game while giving Giannis and Middleton an absurd amount of run given the fact this game was pointless. I know that Inglis has been pretty underwhelming in his limited time, but man, if he could come in to allow Giannis to sit for just a few minutes at a time it would make me feel a lot better about Giannis’ accumulating mileage.
  • I like what he did with the starting lineup–sending Vaughn to the bench and placing Ennis with the starting group. In the pregame Hammond said that while Giannis is the point, they may look at other players to bring the ball up-court. That’s where Ennis enters into play. He’s strong and unselfish with the ball. Plus he has just enough range to keep defenses honest. He’s figures to be a career role player, but he’s shown he can log effective starter’s minutes when given the chance.
