Conclusion

At the end of the day, trading for Cousins would make little sense.

There’s no doubt that if the Kings were willing to talk, the Bucks would certainly listen and entertain a possible trade for Cousins. He’s simply too good of a player not to consider trading for.

However, when it comes down to it, the Bucks are ultimately better off keeping their core three of Antetokounmpo, Middleton, and Parker and seeing where it takes them.

After all, if the guys continue to improve and play at a level like they did at the end of the season, the Bucks have enough talent to become a real contender in the Eastern Conference.
